I've been reading other peoples' blogs to see what's out there, and mine is pitiful. No point in having a blog if I ain't going to blog.
So I hope to add more updates here, even if they are totally random. Maybe it's to prove to myself that no my life ain't that dull. Or maybe it is, and I just want to fool the few who do read this blog. Ha!
I went to this sale at a real cool furniture store in Knoxville. A very hip/retro furnishing/home store called Nouveau Classics. The sale started at noon. They were sold out in 10 minutes. What the fuck?! And it's not like you could think about the piece you were going to get. You had to make your decision right then and there. INSANE! Oh well, better luck next time.
But the good thing about this was it pissed me off and I became annoyed with my apathy, so I visited two flea markets and a couple of furnishing store in the Old City. I met a woman who may be able to find me the type of 50s/ultra modern sofa I'm looking for. What a combination. Those in the know, will know what I mean. I should actually write about my furnishing travails. It's been somewhat interesting.
But (damn, I hate starting two grafs with but. Where the hell did my copy editing skills go?) I'm about to get some shuteye. if I remember tomorrow, I'll write about my flea markets and purchases.
