Last weekend was docu-filled. Watched "Supersize Me" and "Fahrenheit 9-11," and heartily recommend both.
Have also started reading "The Corrections" by Jonathan Franzen. (I'm either always way late or way early. Habit, I guess.) Both my smart lit friends have recommended it (as did Oprah), and so far it's been promising and holding my interest. Though I am only a couple of pages through.
I admit it is a nice change from my normal chick-lit reading habit. Neurotic 20something-year-olds with strange sex habits while easy and fun to read can be quite repetitive after a while.
I'm pining to watch "Crossballs," which airs tonight on Comedy Central. But sadly I don't have Comedy Central on my cable chananel lineup. I read a review on it and it sounds quite riveting cable news debate, The Daily News style. Catch it if you can. It's on tonight (Tuesday) at 7:30 EDT.
Tomorrow Nashville and promises of a bright future.
