Yep. Still breathing and living and doing my thing. It's been a busy couple of weeks, what with a wedding, shopping for a wedding, preparing for a wedding; friends visiting, family visiting, preparing for friends and family visiting; getting braces, living with braces and getting comfortable with braces. Yes, you get the drift.
But a lot of good things have been happening, so it's all good.
First off, I have to extend a warm welcome to my new sister-in-law (aka Deepababhi). My brother and his highschool sweetheart made it through living on different continents. See a few pictures of their wedding.
Weddings are so much fun as that's the time your family comes together to celebrate something good. Seeing all most my entire family is always very special. And seeing the babylicious Kush, was so much more awesome and beautiful. He's a real super bittu and going to be one major stud muffin. Of course I can't refrain from mentioning the many cups of chai I had at home. What a delight!
I've also been experiencing more of my surroundings. Been biking and walking and sitting on rocks and seeing spiders. And although I much prefer the spring when everything comes into life, I'm looking forward to the fall when the leaves changing color will mark my first anniversary in Knoxville. Woohoo!
But more on reflection and Knoxville and Kush and weddings in future post. Stay tuned.
