I've been spoiled this past month as I've gotten to see family on two separate occasions. I was down in Florida for Nisha's baby shower and got to have some pretty neat conversations with my nephew Kush, pictured below. He's four years old and at a perfect age where he's learning everything and having conversations with me and such!

Then my dad, Amit and Deepa-bhabhi came up to visit me about two weeks ago. I prepared a picnic with fried catfish, mango and corn salsa and fresh cut fruit in the park near where I live. I played a bit of badminton with my dad, which brought back memories. We did some socializing with the Hiras and then met Kent and his folks for supper. That was such a treat. That's me and my dad below.

And while I was trying for frequent posts earlier, they are now few and far between. Blame a broken laptop. One day I'll actually be hip with the Internets.

Thanks for the props on my diaper cake. It was really easy to make. Most of the fun came with the bottle of wine Jenny James and I took down while we made it. Let me know if you'd like help when you make yours.
Kush is a gorgeous child. I bet he has lots to say right now. I rocked Cora last night before bed and she jsut babbled away. I agreed every now and then -- that made her happy.
