These past couple of days have been absolutely beautiful. The weather is just right and that slight breeze cools you just so.
C. from work and I had dinner outside at the Tomato Head tonight. It was perfect. We talked of love and purpose and Knoxville and many more things inbetween. The glass of South African (but what else?!) red I had gave me that light feeling I so desperately needed today; the wam brownie at the end was a delectable treat. Finally my mind was calm and not a flurry of thoughts.
You just live for evenings like this when the sky is that perfect shade of aqua going on deep purple and a warm breeze blows next to you while you dine.
This is all repetitious, I'm sure. Just can't stop raving about the beautiful weather we're having here while many on the East Coast are braving Isabel.
Anyhow, this is just a sidenote to share/spread the joy. I'll be off in a few to see 'American Splendor' at Downtown West. I hear it's pretty good.
