Saturday marks the return of my traveling. If you're a regular reader, you'll know I spent the first seven months of the year traveling quite a bit. It seemed like every six weeks, I was packing a bag and heading off someplace.
Then, thankfully, I got to stay in Knoxville a while, and had some folks come see me, which, of course, I loved. But Saturday, I break the idylic bliss as I travel to Atlanta to go see my Motabhai and Deepabhabhi, and the very awesome Nisha.
Nisha, her sister and I are planning on seeing Penn Masala perform Saturday night someplace. And it'll just be good to get some girl-time with her. I'm also excited at seeing my brother and sister-in-law again. They came by to Knoxville last week, and I think we had a lot of fun traversing through East Tennessee to find Maple Lane Farms to go get lost in a maze. Instead, we got lost on the way there, and didn't have time to visit the maze, so instead went on a hayride, which was very cool in itself too.
In late October I'll be heading off to Philadelphia, for my studmuffin cousin's engagement ceremony. This will almost be like a mini family-reunion too, so that will be good. And I'll get to see the very babylicious bhajyu, which will be so awesome. There may be a camping trip in October and also, possibly, a trip to Durham. So should be a rockin' month. October is becoming a fond month of mine.
For some reason, this posting isn't having that same chai-feeling I normally get when I post. It's been a crazy-tired week. I should get some rest. As I like to say, more later.
But for the Zambians out there, I stumbled upon this Zambian-based blog. Haven't looked at it much, but should be a little insightful I hope.
